Date Nights and Activities I Dream of So You Don’t Have to.

I like to say that I am a hopeful romantic. Yes, you read that right. Hope FULL. There is nothing less that I deserve of my dating life. Though, at times I think that romance is dead in my generation, but I just know that can’t be true because I exist. And I refuse to believe that I am the only one left that wants romance.

I want the quirky RomCom kind of romance. The grand gestures, the considerate gifts, (and most of all) the well executed dates. I hate to admit this, but I am rarely asked out on dates. I’m starting to think it’s an epidemic at this point because I know so many other people who share this experience. I used to think it was pathetic— people not valuing my time enough to ask me out properly. Now, I attribute it to lack of interest and creativity. When I view it from that perspective, it’s a game changer. Why would I want to be involved with anyone like that?

So, I stopped relying on other people to fulfill my desires. I wanted date nights that I could enjoy, then that is what I shall get. I began to compile a list of dates and activities that I’d love to go on. Currently, I have been taking myself on these adventures. Though I am not opposed to sharing these experiences with other people. Previously I thought that would look like going on these dates with others, but now I realize that can look like sharing it with you as well.
